The lid is securely locked in with plastic and offers two pouring options - a direct open stream or a sieve for straining if you add fruit to your pitcher. Despite being dishwasher safe, we recommend handwashing due to the pitcher's shape. However, some customers have successfully cleaned it in the dishwasher without any issues.

The glass is sturdy and not awkwardly thick, making it easy to hold with a good weight to the carafe. This heat-resistant glass pitcher can be used on gas and stove tops.

However, it is not recommended for use with metal utensils. The pitcher's large capacity and size make it perfect for storing in the fridge door for easy access to refreshing beverages.
